Since the official publication of ISO 9001:2015 in mid-September, LRQA have been awarded accreditation for a growing number of training courses by the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA). The latest LRQA Quality Management System (QMS) courses to gain IRCA accreditation are the five-day Lead Auditor training course, Lead Auditor Transition courses and the Internal Auditor course, both of which have been developed or updated based upon the newly revised ISO 9001:2015.
The five day QMS Lead Auditor training course meets the requirements of both ISO 9000:2015 and ISO 9001:2015 and is designed for those who are looking to complete their IRCA QMS Lead Auditor registration for the first time. Completion of the course meets the requirements for IRCA approved ISO 9001:2015 QMS Lead Auditors.
The five day course, which incorporates the new exam papers issued by IRCA, has been designed to focus on those areas of the standards which are new or changed, and the skills needed to audit the changes including organisational context and how to audit top management leadership and commitment and action planning to address risks and opportunities.
Commenting on the award, Dave Sherring, LRQA External Training Capability Development Manager said, “We’re delighted at the latest news from IRCA, accreditation for the QMS Lead Auditor training course is further confirming our commitment to delivering world-class services that our clients tell us they want.”
To support organisations worldwide following the publication of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 on 15 September, LRQA offers a range of assessment services as well public and in-house training courses, all aimed at helping to ensure a smooth transition to the new standards.
