Richard Gunawan also stated that “CSR reports shall not be perceived as another ‘PR materials’ by the public.  Instead, it should be seen as one’s commitment to improve environmental practices, corporate governance and social accountability. Consumers are becoming more informed and they will do business with organisations that will make a positive contribution to their community.  If CSR is implemented correctly as part of the corporate strategy, it will deliver a competitive advantage in the long run”.
